Jerome Deininger, 78, Wausau, died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born September 16, 1937 in Wausau, son of the late Joseph and Martha Mary (Kramer) Deininger.
Jerome graduated high school in 1956 and earned an Associate Degree in accounting from Northcentral Technical College, Wausau, WI. He served in the National Guard for several years and later worked in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri before returning to Wausau. He enjoyed cats, fishing, and working on cars.
Survivors include his sister, Grace (John) Kuhne, St. Louis, Missouri; nephews, Karl (Anne) Kuhne, Lake Charles, Louisiana and Kurt Kuhne, Hazelwood, Missouri, great-nephew, Samuel Kuhne, and great-nieces, Ella and Maren Kuhne, Lake Charles, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
