Jenny M. Lang

Jenny M. Lang 28, Marathon, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at her home. She was born November 29, 1978 in Marshfield, daughter of LeRoy and Janice (Kummerow) Lang, Marathon. Jenny was a 1997 graduate of Marathon High School. Among her many interests, she enjoyed singing Kareoke, farming, and loved horses and her two dogs, "Duncan" and "Hunter". Jenny also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her many nieces and nephews. She holds many special memories shared at their family cabin in Marathon. Survivors include, her parents, LeRoy and Janice Lang, Marathon; her maternal grandmother, Helen Kummerow, Marathon; two brothers, Daniel (Laura) Lang, Marathon and Craig (Christine) Lang, Edgar; two sisters, Jodi (Dennis) Hinderliter, Medford and Joanne (Fiance' Joe Schreier) Lang, Marathon; 11 nieces and nephews, Nicole, Cody, Miranda, Heather, Heidi, Breanna, Brett, Shauna, Rebecca, George and Oscar; her boyfriend, Trent Socha, Athens; special family friend, Jason "Monte" Strasser, Marathon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leonard Kummerow; her paternal grandparents, Ignatz and Margaret Lang; and three nieces, Jessica, Andrea and Kristine Hinderliter. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Robert Thorn and Rev. Barnabas Kyea will co-preside. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marathon. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
