Jeffrey "Dutch" Westerdyk 45, 2705 N. 7th Street, Wausau, died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at his home. He was born April 23, 1960 in Wausau son of Herman and Tini (Brinksma) Westerdyk, Wausau. On April 9, 1983 Jeff married Barb Feck at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wausau. She survives. Jeff was previously employed at American Dynatec, Weston and also worked with his father installing carpet and tile. Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was well known for his musky and walleye fishing abilities, but never turned down a trip to go trout fishing on the Prairie or Plover rivers. Most recently Jeff was working toward his guides license so he and Barb could help the many handicapped fisherman experience the same thrills as they did. Survivors beside his wife Barb, Wausau, include his son Bren Westerdyk, at home, his parents, Herman and Tini Westerdyk, Wausau, mother and father-in-law, William "Bill" (Arlene) Feck, Wausau, special aunt, Corry Van Schagen, Holland, brothers-in-law, Jeff (Debbie) Feck, Wausau, Pat (Lori) Feck, Merrill, sisters-in-law, Beth (Tom) Hoss, Mosinee, Jamie (Bryan) Stuettgen, Plover, Kathy (Al) Kowalchyk, Minnesota. Jeff is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and fishing buddies. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. The Rev. Donald Baumann will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
