Jeffrey D. Tillou

Jeffrey D. Tillou 38, Wausau, died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at his home after a courageous battle against Lou Gehrig's Disease.. He was born August 22, 1967 in Merrill, son of Basel Tillou, Oshkosh and Patricia (Haug) Mueller, Wausau. Jeff was a truck driver for five years and loved the open road. Among his many interests, he enjoyed buying, fixing and selling cars. He was a daily customer at the Log Cabin Restaurant and enjoyed visiting threr with his many friends. Survivors include, one son, A.J. Tillou, Wausau; his father and step-mother, Basel and Phyllis Tillou, Oshkosh; his mother and step-father, Patricia and Ron Mueller, Wausau; two sisters, Barb (Darrel) Smazal, Wausau and Dawn (Alan) Froehlich, Wausau and one brother, Mike (Kim) Tillou, Wausau; his step-brothers and step-sisters, Deb and Mike McPeake, Jim Friedrich, Jeff and Dawn Friedrich, Edward and Sally Friedrich, Donald and Sue Friedrich and Bruce Friedrich; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Tillou; and his beloved dog and trucking buddy, Doozie. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday August 11, 2006 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Dr. Michael Meranda will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. and again on Friday from Noon until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for ALS Research in care of the family.
