Jeffrey "Blanche" Luedtke,
44, Minneapolis, formerly of Wausau, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
He was born February 25, 1965 in Wausau, son of Mary (nee Kesy) Luedtke of Wausau and the late Donald Luedtke.
Jeff worked as a waiter at many different restaurants in the Wausau area, and moved to Minneapolis, where he continued working as a waiter for the past 20 years. His greatest passion in life was riding his bike and hanging out with his many friends. Jeff volunteered and was very active with the Aliveness Project in Minneapolis. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Luedtke, Wausau; two sisters, Chris (David) Zastrow, Wausau and Linda (Tim) Luedtke, Rothschild; one brother, Matthew Hildebrandt, Minneapolis; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends in both Wausau and Minneapolis.
Memorial services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Mini Ha Ha Park, Minneapolis. A second memorial service will be held at Noon Sunday, September 20, 2009 where family and friends will gather at the top of Rib Mountain to celebrate his life.
