Jeanne Seim

Jeanne Seim, 70, Weston, died Friday July 31, 2015 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. She was born April 30, 1945, daughter of the late Stanley and Bertha (Groshek) Kole. On April 4, 1964, she married Jerry Seim at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. He survives. Prior to her retirement, Jeanne had served St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston as Choir Director and Parish Secretary. Among her favorite pastimes were involvement in community theatre and singing. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Seim, Weston, three children, Lisa Burgess, Weston, Eric Seim, Weston and Ann (Michael) Mead, Wausau; five grandchildren, Amanda & David Burgess, Kyler Seim, Mason & Harper Mead; one great grandchild, Shiloh Burgess; three siblings, Carol (Bill) Omernik, Weston, Dale (Sue) Kole, Birnamwood, Ron (Jane) Kole, Schofield. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Kole. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 4, 2015 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Greg Bohren will preside. Private burial services will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alcoholics Anonymous, in care of the family. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
