Jeanette M. Waldinger

Jeanette M. Waldinger 85, Rib Mountain, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Aspirus Hospice House. She was born December 8, 1923 in Wausau, daughter of the late Reinhold and May (Shope) Henke. On January 4, 1945, she married Howard Waldinger in Los Angeles, California. He survives. Jeanette worked at Wausau Insurance Company for 18 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Burns Post #388, Wausau. Among her many interests, she loved to play bingo. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Howard Waldinger, Rib Mountain; three children, Lon (Diane Lynn) Waldinger, Wausau, Diane K. Waldinger, Rothschild and Shawn (Pamela) Waldinger, Anoka, Minn.; three grandchildren, Brett Waldinger, Wausau, Brayden and Jordyn Waldinger, Anoka, Minn.; two great grandchildren, Brittany and Blake Waldinger; a special friend of the family, Tina Gajewski, Rothschild; and the 4 four-legged grandchildren, "Sadie", "Dexter", "Dusty" and "Blue". Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Raatz, Marian Wilkinson and Virginia Bishop; and one brother, David Henke. Private family services will be held.
