Jean R. Ewing (nee Neumann)
89, Wausau, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born March 14, 1918 in Polonia, daughter of the late Archie and Anna (Glodoski) Neumann.
Jean served her country in the United States Army as a nurse during World War II. She worked at both St. Mary and Memorial Hospital and retired at age 75 from Family Heritage. Jean will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was a devoted mother to Barbara (Robert) Sagadin, Michael (Debra) Ewing, Kathleen Ewing, Patricia Lunar, Thomas Ewing, Mary (Gary Binder) Ewing and Gary Balcerzak; most beloved grandmother to Kristin (Eric) Fuehrer, Paul Sagadin, Stephen (Katie) Sagadin, Jennifer Lunar, Josie Lunar, Chante' Ewing and Anthony Ewing; very special great grandmother to Miguel, Mario, Jade, Maliyah, Amelia, Benjamin and David.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held.
