Jay J. Wunsch

Jay J. Wunsch, 55, Wausau, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 15, 2012 peacefully at his home. He was born August 26, 1957 in Wausau, son of Robert Wunsch and the late Vergene (Huehnerfuss) Wunsch. Jay served his country in the United States Airforce for over 19 years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. Jay loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His ability to make people smile will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include his son, Jason (Marianne) Wunsch, and daughter, Catherine Wunsch, both of Wausau; grandchildren, Brianna Streich, Madelyn and A.J. Wunsch; his father and step-mother, Robert (Diane) Wunsch, Kronenwetter; brother, Todd (Lori) Wunsch; step-sisters, Lisa (Carrol) Pittsley, Weston and Michelle (John) Suchomski, Hatley, many other relatives and friends. Besides his mother, Vergene, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Wunsch and sister, Sheryl Rosacker. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
