Janice P. Henkelman

Janice P. Henkelman, 87, Wausau died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at the Hospice House, Wausau. She was born December 3, 1926 in Chicago. On July 2, 1946 she married Clarence Henkelman in Atlanta, Ga. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1986. For more than 30 years Janice was a cook at Wausau Hospital and also at the former Ballisteri's Restaurant in Schofield. Janice loved spending time gardening and cooking. Survivors include her three children, Wallace (Ann) Henkelman, Henderson, Nevada, Leonard (Susan) Henkelman, Wausau and Larry Henkelman, Fond du Lac, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Henkelman and her twin sister, Bernie Yanda. Memorial services will be held at Noon, Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Joy Nelson Jeffers will officiate.
