Janice Gibbens

Janice Gibbens 70, 500 Grand Ave., Wausau, died Sunday December 23, 2001 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born June 18, 1931 in Marathon County daughter of the late Carl and Dorena (Jaeger) Dittmar. She married Milton Gibbens. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Theresa (John) Schmidt, Schofield, Priscilla (Gerald) Glaser, Milwaukee, Patricia Olson, Wausau, one son, Peter (Pam) Olson, River Falls, 11 grandchildren, four sisters, Doris (Ray) Madden, Wausau, Ethel (Hanz) Tritten, Merrill, Marjorie (Frank) Tritten, Merrill, Shirley Dittmar, Schofield, four brothers, Donald Dittmar, Merrill, Earl Dittmar, Merrill, Edward (Carol) Dittmar, Lebanon, Tenn., Gerald Dittmar, Schofield. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2002 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service in the church hall. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
