Jane M. (Nowack) Myszka

Jane M. Myszka, 76, Edgar, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

She was born July 24, 1945 in Wausau, daughter of the late Arthur and Irene (Laidlaw) Nowack.  On August 1, 1964, she married the love of her life Norbert T. Myszka at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stratford.  He preceded her in death on March 7, 2019.

Jane loved her role as a homemaker and mother of three boys and worked outside the home for Marathon Cheese Corp. and Color Vision Printing.  She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the St. John PCCW.

Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed going up north to the family cottage on Lake Alice, bird watching, crafting, baking and gardening.  Jane had a good sense of humor and loved spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three sons, Mike (Sarah) Myszka, Wausau, Keith (Michele) Myszka, Kronenwetter and Jeff Myszka, Edgar; one grandson, Tim Myszka, Colorado; one great grandson, Gabriel Myszka, Colorado; one step grandson, Josh Brenden, Wausau; two step great granddaughters; and three siblings, Nancy Schoenfuss, Stratford, Mark (Karen) Nowack, Marshfield and Richard “Dick” (Bernell) Nowack, Wausau.

Besides her parents and husband, Norbert, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Roy and Jerry Nowack.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar.  Rev. Alan Wierzba will preside.  Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
