Jane A. Harder

Jane A. Harder, 65, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at her home under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born September 17, 1939 in Abbotsford to the late Harold and Lucille (Bunnell) Kalepp, Sr. She married William (Bill) Harder on June 29, 1979 in Wausau. He survives. Jane started working for Sears Roebuck Company in Anchorage, Alaska in 1967, transferring to the Wausau store in 1970. She originally worked in the receiving department and later in the appliance department as salesperson. She retired in 1995 due to illness. In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by her two children Mike Myre, Merrill and Jackie Myre, Eau Claire; one grandson Taylor Corbett, Eau Claire; four step children Brent Harder, Lanny Harder, Lori Rindflisch, Lindy Nieves; four step grandchildren Cole, Caleb, Chelsea, and Max. Also surviving are two brothers Harold (Norma) Kalepp, Jr and DeWayne (Suzie) Kalepp, all of Abbotsford; two aunts Margaret Kalepp, Dorchester and Alice (Gib) Kattre, Abbotsford; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, Janette and Nanette who died at birth in 1962, and one brother Gerald. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Rev. John Roseth will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. A special thank you to the Hospice Center and the hospice nurses who attended to Jane at home. The service rendered was extraordinary.
