Jamie L. Weiler

Jamie Weiler, 36, Rothschild, formerly of Athens, died Tuesday November 20, 2012. He was born December 20, 1975, in Medford, son of Joanne Weiler, Stratford and Ronald Weiler, Marathon. Jamie had been employed for several years at Wausau Homes and was currently employed at Greenheck Fan Corporation. Among his favorite things to do, Jamie was fond of cycling, woodworking and building projects as well as enjoying the outdoors. He also was an excellent landscaper and an avid gardener. Above all, Jamie possessed the qualities of that special person that enters your life. He was quiet, but always had time to lend a hand and when he did share his thoughts, they were always focusing on the kind and positive. Survivors include his mother, Joanne Weiler, Stratford, his father, Ronald Weiler, Marathon, one brother, Jody Weiler, Athens, his paternal grandfather, William Weiler, Athens, his aunts and uncles, Kenneth (Sybil) Frahm, Portland, Ore., Gerald Frahm, Rozelleville, Rodney Frahm, Athens, Betty (Dennis) Rasmussen, Phoenix, Ariz., Theresa (Edward) Hoffman, Athens, Judy (David) Ellenbecker, Athens, Joseph (Karen) Weiler, Athens, Steven Weiler, Christine (Craig) Lang, Edgar, Wayne (Cindy) Weiler, Stevens Point, many cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Lillian Frahm and his paternal grandmother, Edith Weiler. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Sunday November 25, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery.
