Jamie M. Kroening

Jamie M. Kroening, 39, Wausau, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Kronenwetter. She was born November 21, 1977 in Wausau, the daughter of Dennis and Geralyn (Robinson) Huntington of Antigo. On March 15, 1996, she married the love of her life Nathan Kroening in Wausau, and together they have two sons, Page and Sawyer, to whom she was devoted. Jamie was currently employed as an administrative assistant and teacher at Mountain View Montessori in Wausau. Previously she worked as a personal care worker for the Aspirus VNA Clinic in Wausau. Her commitment to helping and serving others of all ages was reflected in those careers. She enjoyed volunteering for both the Wausau WarJacks Youth Hockey Team and Cub Scout Pack 400, and was active in the local live music scene. She had a determined spirit, and was enthusiastic about gardening, cooking, the outdoors, and community advocacy. She was a loving, honest and loyal friend and companion. Loved ones who hold her memory close include her husband, Nathan and their sons, Page and Sawyer; parents, Dennis and Geralyn; one brother, Michael Huntington, Wausau; paternal grandmother, Joyce Huntington, Weston; parents-in-law, Jim and Bonnie Crochiere, Kronenwetter; sister-in-law, Shaena (Jody) Ninnemann, Wausau; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Crystal) Essex, Merrill; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Violet Robinson; and her paternal grandfather, Richard Huntington. A celebration of her life will be held on July 6, 2017 at Day's Bowl-A-Dome from 6pm-8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Jamie's family to be donated to a charity of the family's choice.
