Jamie B. Curley, 52, 1305 N. Eighth Avenue, Wausau, died Monday, April 5, 2004 at her home.
She was born March 26, 1952 in Wausau, daughter of Stephen and Florence (Smith) Kapinsky, Wausau. Jamie married Randall Weisenberger in Wausau. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Michael Curley in Wausau. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Jamie loved reading books, especially mystery novels and learning about historic points of interest. Jamie was a dog lover and also enjoyed antiques, gardening and touring historic homes. She had a great love for and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Hailey. For many years she gave generously of her time and talent to the Church of St. Anne. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (John) Quinette, Denver, Colo., a granddaughter, Hailey Quinette; her parents, Stephen and Florence Kapinsky, Wausau; one brother, Dave (Jean) Kapinsky, Wausau; grandfather, Glen Smith, Wausau, parents-in-law; Ed & Mary Curley, Loretto, Tenn. and Bill Weisenberger, Wausau.
The funeral mass will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again Thursday from 10:30 am until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
