James "Jim" A. Radtke, 88, Wausau, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born June 17, 1926 in Wausau, son of the late William and Gertrude (Wex) Radtke.
Jim worked as a feed operator at James River Corp. in Wausau for 35 A½ years until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include, his nephews, Bill (Bonnie) Radtke, Munford, Tenn., Bob (Ana) Radtke, Seoul, Korea, Bruce (Melissa) Radtke, Dubuque, Iowa and Mark (Lorraine) Radtke, Stuttgart, Germany and their families. He is further survived by many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Francis and William Radtke; and one sister, Margaret Radtke.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
