James M. Plant
58, Mokena, Ill., died Monday March 28, 2005, at his home in Illinois.
He was born March 7, 1947, in Wausau, son of Genevieve (Hughes) Plant, Wausau and the late Donald Plant.
James was employed as a harness horse trainer and rehabilitator.
He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Viet Nam War and was a member of the American Legion, Alois Dreikosen Post, #469, Marathon.
Survivors include his mother, Genevieve Plant, Wausau, three brothers, Robert (Joan) Plant, Marathon, Patrick Plant and Jerome Plant, both of Wausau, a sister, Janet (Albert Jr.) DeChristie, Florence, New Jersey, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 2, 2005 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
