James M. Pergalski

James M. Pergalski 61, Wausau, died Friday March 30, 2007 at his home. He was born November 24, 1945, in Wausau, son of the late Arnold and Marie (Newman) Pergalski. On January 8, 1977, he married Doreen Habeck in Wausau. She survives. James was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War and Viet Nam War. He was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Burns Post No. 388, Wausau. Prior to his retirement, James had been employed at Modern Builders and Suppliers, Wausau. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Doreen Pergalski, Wausau, three children, Tina (William) Kleist, Wausau, Kevin (Amanda) Pergalski, Weston, Kimberly Pergalski, Wausau, two grandchildren, Sam Boykins and Trevor Pergalski, two sisters, Carol (Duane) Gau, Sun Prairie and Nancy (Jack) DeHaven, New Orleans. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday April 2, 2007 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
