James A. Ludvik

James Ludvik, 63, 1429 Cherry Street, Wausau, died Saturday, August 17, 2002, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. James was born November 22, 1938 in Ladysmith, son of the late Otto and Margaret (McDonald) Ludvik. He married Sharon Schoenwalder in Ladysmith on January 3, 1959. She survives. James was a PBX repairman with General Telephone Company. He enjoyed all sports, especially hunting, fishing and playing tennis. He had volunteered his time to help with several PGA events as well as local golfing tournaments. As an on-line investor he worked hard to hone his new found hobby. Most of all he loved his family. Besides his wife, Sharon, he is survived by one daughter, Tracey (Ruben Cota) Ludvik, Cottage Grove, OR; one son, Barry J. (Christine) Ludvik, Plymouth, two grandsons, Taylor and Brady Ludvik; two sisters, Sharon (Phillip) Christman, Appleton, Judy (Lavern) Jensen, Cornell; two brothers, Gerald (Nancy) Ludvik, Ladysmith, Robert (Shirley) Mankato, MN. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday form 10:30 a.m., until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
