James Deaubl

James Deaubl, 78, Wausau, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. James was born October 11, 1924 in Athens, son of the late Joseph and Susan (Welbes) Deaubl. He married Priscilla Stahnke on December 11, 1954 in Wausau. She preceded him in death November 14, 1994. James was a foreman for Connor Forest Industry. He was a World War II Veteran serving his country in the United States Army. He had a great sense of humor, loved a good joke, enjoyed being around people and cared for their well being. Above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include four daughters, Lynda Hollman, Milwaukee, Cindy Deaubl, Wausau, Marie (Allan) Teige, Wausau, Diane (David) Hughes, Suffolk, Virginia; five grandchildren, Jayson, Rick, Jacob, Jackie, Amanda; one great granddaughter, Madi; two sisters, Cordie Cumber, Oshkosh, Doni Kropp, Wausau. Besides his wife, Priscilla and his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2003 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend a heart felt thank you to all who loved and cared for Dad at Comfort Care and Hospice Services and Mount View Care Center 2 North.
