Jacqueline "Jackie" Gliniecki
74, 632 Lake View Drive, Wausau, died Tuesday April 12, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
She was born July 21, 1930 in Wausau, daughter of the late Kenneth and Cecelia (Greene)Moore. On September 29, 1951 she married Lawrence "Larry" Gliniecki in Wausau. He preceded her in death September 13, 1981.
After her parents death, Jackie had been raised by her grandparents and was a graduate of Wausau High School. She had been employed as a receptionist at a dental office and enjoyed knitting, baking, canning and gardening. Among her many involments in the community, she was a member of the Foresters, the Knights of Columbus Ladies and the KC Bowling league.
Survivors include her cousins, Jerome J. Moore, Milwaukee, Rev. William W. Moore, Charlene Moore, Tom Moore, all of Wauwatosa, Sherry Antlers, Calif., Dorothy Dunn. Waukesha, 13 godchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Joni Gliniecki, Gertrude Gabrielski, Leroy (Mae) Gliniecki, all of Wausau, Gloria (Dick) Milanowski, Schofield, Bernard (Rita) Gliniecki, Roanoke, Vir., nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents and grandparents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, a very close friend, Clarence Bychinski, brothers-in-law, Ted Gliniecki and Milton Gabrielski.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday April 15, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch and Rev. Joseph Rafacz will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
