Jacqueline P. Cherek

Jacqueline P. Cherek, 49, Hatley, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born July 25, 1965 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Douglas and Janet (Kiedrowski) Polaski. On October 3, 1987 she married John Cherek at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Jackie loved animals and enjoyed deer hunting during both bow and rifle seasons. Survivors include her husband, John, Hatley; daughter, Casey Cherek; brothers, Russ (Tina) Polaski, Santan Valley, Arizona and Tom (Dawn) Polaski, Duluth, Minnesota; great grandmother, Florence Polaski, Neenah, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Roy Witucki will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Mount View Care Center for their kind, compassionate care of Jackie during her stay there.
