Jacob Arthur Smith

Jacob Arthur Smith 22, 902 N. 3rd St., Wausau, born into eternal life on Thursday, March 13, 2003 in Wausau. He was born November 14, 1980 in Wausau, son of Mary (Jeffrey) Abt, Kronenwetter and Michael (Schandra Skalecke) Smith, Mosinee Jacob's favorite things to do were going for long walks, swimming at the Eau Claire Dells, hiking on Rib Mountain, going up North to his grandfather and grandmothers cabin. He enjoyed playing and listening to music and was an avid Packer fan. He got great joy from writing in his journals and short stories Jacob's enjoyment came from spending time with his family and going out to eat with his mother. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and anyone he touched. Besides his parents, he was greatly loved and survived by one brother, Adam Smith, Kronenwetter; maternal grandparents, Elroy & Delores Burgoyne, Schofield; paternal grandparents, Wayne & Sharon Smith, Schofield; step paternal grandparents, John & Julie Abt, Wausau; uncles and aunts, Harry (Nancy) Burgoyne, Schofield, Nancy (Michael) Lang, Kronenwetter, Randy (Rose) Burgoyne, Milan, Wayne (Maria) Burgoyne, Bevent, Tammy (Glen) Erdman, Schofield, Jeff (Tracy) Smith, Marshfield, Theresa (Jerry) Cartwright, Mosinee and David (Karen) Smith, Merrill; many cousins. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Restlawn Memorial Chapel, Wausau. Rev. Allan Slowiak will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until services at Restlawn. There will be a 7:00 p.m. parish vigil on Monday evening at the 6th St. funeral home.
