Jack Hartman Reichert

Jack Hartman Reichert, 78, Schofield, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 24, 1937 in Long Beach, California, son of the late Robert and Frances (Hartman) Patrick and was adopted in 1947 by the late Harold Reichert. In 1982 he married Barbara Juedes in Wausau. She survives. Jack graduated from St. John's Military Academy and served his country in the United States Air Force. During his life he worked in radio and photography. In the 1960's he worked for WERL Radio in Eagle River and later at WSAU in the 1980's on the night shift where he was known as J. Hartman. Later he owned and operated a sports photography business called Sports of All Sorts. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Reichert, Schofield; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andrew (Ellen) Rolling, St. Paul, Minn. and Arthur (Barbara) Juedes, Wausau, and nieces and nephews. Private burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
