Isabelle B. Burclaff
77, 2408 Gowan St., Wausau, died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1926 in Ringle, daughter of the late John and Mary (Glodowski) Landowski. On June 12, 1948, she married Clarence Burclaff at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He survives.
Isabelle worked in and out of the home. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading, embroidery and bingo. Isabelle's greatest joy was seeing her children succeed and be happy. She was very proud of all her kids. She loved that she has so many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and their Rosary Confraternity.
Besides her husband, Clarence Burclaff, Wausau, survivors include her children, Kathleen (Bob) Shorey, Bowler, Ron (Barb) Burclaff, Merrill, Cynthia (John) Parker, Wausau, Eunice Burclaff, Columbus, Ohio, Mark (Phyllis) Burclaff, Wausau, Sue (Paul) Glodowski, Stevens Point and Michele (Ken) Schneider, Wausau; 15 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; her siblings, Frances King, Schofield, Dennis (Georgianne) Landowski, Milwaukee, Elizabeth (Donald) Budnick, Hatley, Ludwig Landowski, Wittenberg, Natalie (Ernest) Dallman, Hatley, Sylvester (Shirley) Landowski, Ringle and Kleo (Joanne) Landowski, Antigo.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Landowski, Leona Magrecke and Agnes Landowski; two brothers, Edward Landowski and Joseph Landowski, Sr.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003, 2003 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Mausoleum, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the Sixth Street funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Michael Catholic Church.
