Isabel "Toni" Price
85, Schofield, formerly of Green Bay and the Wisconsin Northwoods,
passed into the arms of Eternity on Wednesday, October 15, 2003, under
the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Community Health Care
Wausau Hospital following a seven week illness.
Toni was born at the family homestead in Rib Mountain, the daughter of
the late Anton and Rose Schneck. She was also preceded in death by her
beloved husband, John B. Price in 1965, and by numerous brothers,
sisters, and extended family. She is survived by her son, John M.
(Conni Berray) Price, Menasha; grandson, Samuel Price, Menasha; two
sisters, Jackie Ramthun, Janesville, and Elaine Brown, Rothschild;
numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Toni was a unique lady of vigor, caring, and strength. Along with her
husband, she owned and operated the photography business Pandagraph
Studio & Portraits by Toni, Wausau and Green Bay. She retired to the
Woodruff area, where she enjoyed many years among the woodland animals. She was an accomplished German cook and greatly enjoyed opening her home to guests over the years. She expressed her independent style in many ways. Toni was a prominent politician in Green Bay in the 1960s, the first woman to run for mayor of Green Bay. She was also instrumental in establishing an elected school board in Green Bay.
Toni will be buried next to her true love and husband John at Allouez
Catholic Cemetery in DePere at a private graveside ceremony.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the entire
staff at Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Wausau Hospital for their
care and concern during her time with them.
Anyone who ever met Toni Price knew she was truly one of a kind. As she
always said, "I'll cry tomorrow."
