Irma "Elaine" Drews

Irma “Elaine” Drews, 91, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, under the care of Compassus Hospice at Care Partners, Weston.

She was born January 1, 1935, daughter of the late Adolph and Irma (Trittin) Beyer. On September 17, 1955, she married Arnold Drews at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aniwa. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2013.

Elaine enjoyed sewing and gardening especially tending to her flowers. She was a devoted farm wife and homemaker and after her husband’s passing found her social side attending many church functions and activities.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Janine) Drews; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sara) Drews, Christopher Drews, Erik (Teri) VanVuren and Kurt (Liz) VanVuren; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenna, Mason, Amelia, Emmett, Max, Annie, Gracie and Tanner; siblings, Shirley Kasten, Randy Beyer and Ron (Frances) Beyer.

Besides her parents and husband, Arnold, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrin and sisters, Joan and Kathleen.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aniwa. Rev. Trenton Wollberg will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service all at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Aniwa.
