Irene F. Schultz

Irene F. Schultz 89, Wausau, died Thursday June 12, 2008 at her home. She was born October 16, 1918, in Wausau, daughter of the late Reuben and Flora (Perrot) Hintz. On March 23, 1940, she married Howard R. Schultz in Waukon, Iowa. He preceded her in death February 3, 1997. Irene had been the bookkeeper for her husband at Industrial Tool and Die. She had also been employed at Heineman Department Store. Among her favorite things to do were, ceramics, attending antique gas engine shows with Howard, flowers and gardening. Survivors include one son, Russell (Karen) Schultz, Mosinee, one daughter, Alice (Donald) Williams, Mountain Home, Ark., four grandchildren, Mark (Heather) Gehring, Merrill, Lori (Scott) Lillie, Rothschild, Scott Schultz, Mosinee, Tammy (Neal) Szymanski, Weston, 12 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle Hintz and one sister, Ethel Helmig. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 16, 2008 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
