Irene K. Clark

Irene K. Clark 76, Mosinee formerly of Rothschild, died Thursday, March 25, 2004 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born August 14, 1927 in Menasha, daughter of the late Michael and Victoria (Buska) Bukowski. On September 30, 1950, she married Neal Clark at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1999. Irene was a library aide for D.C. Everest High School and the Marathon County Bookmobile. She was a member of the St. Mark Ladies Council Aide, Rothschild and was a Grey Lady volunteer for the former St. Mary Hospital, Wausau. Irene's passion was crocheting lap robes, which she donated to hospitals, nursing homes and the Veteran Administration in King, WI. Survivors include her three sons, Thomas (Debra) Clark, Rib Mountain and their children, Michelle and Samantha, Jack (Faith) Clark, Rothschild and Andrew (Karen) Clark, Rothschild and their children, Aaron, Rachel and Ryan; one brother, Kenneth Bukowski, Birnamwood; special niece, Bessie (Franklin) Curan, Mosinee. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Bukowski. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan Slowiak will officiate. Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to D.C. Everest Scholarship fund set up in Irene's name.
