Imgard Alma Lena Springer

Imgard Alma Lena Springer, age 97, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Walnut Grove Assisted Living, Wausau. She was born Decemer 16, 1915 in Edgar, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Louise (Syring) Ballerstein. On November 23, 1934 she married Lawrence Springer in the town of Wien. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1996. Survivors include her children, Phyllis Riles, Orlando, Florida, Janette Denfeld, Rib Mountain, Sandra (Norm) Randl, Appleton, and Jim (Helen) Springer, Gleason; 17 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Lawrence, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Rosentreter, a son, Lawrence Jr., and two sisters, Norma Ballerstein and Myrtle Bluhm. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
