Ida S. Jacobsen, 104, Wausau, died Monday, March 10, 2003, at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. Ida was born January 18, 1899, in the town of Eau Plaine, daughter of the late David and Wilhelmina (Engleman) Riemer. She married Harry Jacobsen in July of 1920 in Marshfield. He preceded her in death in 1937. Ida was a homemaker who enjoyed embroidery, canning raspberries and beans and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Klug, Rhinelander, Thelma Sullivan, Wausau; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Harry and her parents she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk. Friends may call on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue Funeral Home.
