Ida M. Goralski

Ida M. Goralski, 96, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born January 16, 1908 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Gustav and Anna (Kriez) Thielen. Ida married Joseph Goralski in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death November 4, 1975. Ida was a homemaker and also worked at the former St. Mary Hospital, Wausau. She was a member of St. Michael PCCW, Queen of Peace Circle and was a former member of St. Cecelia Circle, Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Among her favorite things to do were, knitting, crocheting, crafts, playing a few games of Bingo and Scrabble but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Don Goralski, Wausau, Dianne (Fred) Abel. Schofield, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild, son-in-law, Stanley Cichanowicz, Pelican Lake, one sister-in-law, Pat Thielen, Manitowoc along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Ida was preceded in death by one daughter Joanne Cichanowicz, one brother and one sister. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2004 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
