Holinda Mckee

Holdina McKee, 85, Athens, died Friday, October 31, 2003 at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford. She was born December 6, 1917 in the Town of Wein, daughter of the late Herman and Wilhemnia (Wentz) Viegut. On September 10, 1938 she married Walter McKee at St. John Lutheran Church in the town of Wein. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1998. Holdina and her late husband, Walter, farmed in the town of Johnson until their retirement. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan and the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon (Edward) Stencil, Athens, Diane (Kenneth) Dahlke, Edgar; one son, Walter (Linda) McKee, Abbotsford; one daughter-in-law, Lillian McKee Hawkins; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Anita Theilig, Wausau, and one brother, Edwin (Lavern) Viegut, Wausau. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Duane McKee, two grandsons, Timothy McKee and Kevin Dahlke, three sisters, Adela Rousseau, Alvina Rousseau, Amanda Winistasfer; and four brothers, Emil, Ervin, Clarence and Harold Viegut. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2003 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan. Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Burial will be in the Milan Cemetery, Milan. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
