Herman J. Hannemann

Herman J. Hannemann 89, former Edgar resident, died Friday, February 21, 2003 at Divine Savior Hospital, Portage. Herman was born March 17, 1913 in the town of Frankfort, daughter of the late Herman and Hulda (Hoernke) Hannemann. He was an veteran of the US Army serving in World War II and a member of the Edgar Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #10187. Herman worked for VanderHyen Block Company, West Allis, as an equipment operator until retiring and moving to Portage. Survivors include one sister, Adele Martin, Milwaukee and one brother, Arvin Hannemann, Norway, Michigan. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. Rev. Linda Dutton will officiate. Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
