Herbert Charles Remus

Herbert C. Remus 79, Owen, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. He was born April 2, 1931, to the late Samuel and Erna (Weinke) Remus. Survivors include his brothers, Gerhardt (Eliane) Remus, Appleton, and Phillip Remus, Owen; a sister, Doris (Loren) Venzke, Athens; and brother-in-law, Walter (Lucy) Heldt. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Heldt and Verna Remus. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Athens Village Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the Athens funeral home.
