Helen E. Showalter, 86, 1524 County Road F, Athens, died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at her home. She was a Homemaker. Survivors include, her husband, Elmer M. Showalter, Athens; six children, David Elmer (Mildred) Showalter, Hardinsburg, Ken., Carol (Billy) Candill and Joy (David) Beachy, all of Athens, Glen (Rhoda Fern) Showalter, Tangent, Ore., Mary Showalter, Athens, Jane (Nathan) Weber, Copenhagen, NY; 55 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Stoltzfus, Elizabethtown, Penn.; and three brothers, Marlyn (Mabel) Weaver, Lebanon, Tenn., John (Dorothy) Weaver, Penn.; and Richard (Marilyn) Weaver, Myerstown, Penn. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Athens Menoite Church, Athens. Burial will be in the Athens Menonite Cemetery, Athens. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday, all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
