Helen I. Potts 86, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Thursday February 8, 2007, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born April 23, 1920 in Cherokee, daughter of the late John and Veronica (Hurak) Kralcik. On April 15, 1942, she married Alfred F. Potts at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. He preceded her in death January 31, 2003. Helen was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Larry Potts, Tomahawk, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two brothers, Edward (Lorraine) Kralcik, Edgar, Anthony Kralcik, Abbottsford, one sister, Margaret Fasse, Athens. Besides her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Lotharius, three sisters, Marie, Anna, Elizabeth and two brothers, John and Joe. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 13, 2007 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
