Helen M. Haupt

Helen M. Haupt 89, 2901 N. 7th Street, Wausau, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born May 1, 1915 in Park Falls, daughter of the late John and Mary (Whitcomb) Stoltz. On October 7, 1939 Helen married Norman L. Haupt at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1994. Prior to her marriage, Helen was a secretary at the former Employers Mutual of Wausau and later worked at Steffke Freight Company. Helen along with her husband and associates formed the Northern Leasing Company, Inc. Wausau, where she served as Secretary/Treasurer and also held the same position with the Haupt Contract Carriers Inc. Wausau. She enjoyed playing Bridge, reading and the company of her pets. Most special to Helen was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Luanne (Robert) Turkot, Wichita, Kans., Susan (Peter) Wynhoff, Rothschild, Michael (Heather) Haupt, Ormond Beach, Fla., six grandchildren, Robert Jr. (Britt) Turkot, Deborah (Charles) Pearcy, Michelle (Jeff) Lindell, Nikki Wynhoff, Allison (Kris) Olsen and Emily Haupt; seven great grandchildren, Morgann & Ella Turkot, Justin & Kristen Pearcy, Brigitte Lindell, Mariah Wynhoff & Ryeniah McHenry; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Lowry, Wausau and Doris Atkinson, South Carolina and one brother-in-law, Floyd Haupt, Wausau. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Jarvis. The funeral mass will be celebrated 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2005 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
