Hattie Lake

Hattie Lake 81, 308 N. 7th St., Wausau, died Monday, February 4, 2002 at her home. Hattie was employed at the former Marathon Battery and was a cook at several area restaurants. Survivors include 1 son, Richard (Alice) Mertes, Merrill; 1 grandson; 2 sisters, Violet (Jarrett) Pankonien, Beloit and Evelyn Ray, Wausau; 1 brother, Elmer Modrzejewski, Wausau. Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
