Harvey S. Stauffer

Harvey S. Stauffer, age 81, of Athens, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2013. He was a retired carpenter and also repaired automatic transmissions in years past. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanetta. Also his his children, Clifton L. Stauffer, husband of the late Bonnie, Heidi A. Zimmerman, wife of Joseph Zimmerman, Wanda K. Stauffer, Greta J. Stauffer, and Jenifer J. Horst, wife of Kevin Horst; one brother, three sisters, 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Athens Mennonite Church, 6426 Iron Bridge Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family asks that you omit flowers for the service.
