Harry A. Stubbe
86, 1722 West Porter Street, Wausau, died Tuesday October 8, 2002 at his home.
He was born January 18, 1916 in the town of Berlin, son of the late Fred and Alvina (Radenz) Stubbe. On July 20, 1940 he married Violet Pagel in Wausau. She survives.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed at Weyerhauser Corporation, Rothschild, for 31 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Stubbe, Wausau, one son, Noel (Kathy) Stubbe, Hancock, one daughter, Dianne (Charles) Wilichowski, Marathon, two grandsons, Carl (Kim) Wilichowski, Marathon and Andy (Collette) Wilichowski, Seymour, two granddaughters, Nancy (Russell) Sauter, Upland, Calif., and Pam (Scott) Hanke, Marathon, three great grandsons, Dale & Dylan Sauter and Zachary Hanke; two great granddaughters, Tracy & Sheree Wilichowski; one sister, Adeline Berndt, Wausau ; a sister-in-law, Florence Stubbe, Wausau.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Stubbe, one brother, Fred Stubbe and one sister, Leona Kriewald.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday October 11, 2002 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wausau. Rev. Donald Baumann will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Wausau.
