Harriet Marie Olson

Harriet M. Olson, 95, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Friday, December 19, 2003 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born August 15, 1908 in Little Falls, Minn. daughter of the late Eric and Mary Peterson. On December 10, 1938 she married Ervin C. Olson in Little Falls, Minn. He preceded her in death. Harriet worked in the clerical department of Wausau Insurance Company for many years. She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women at the former St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau and the Catholic Daughters of America and Catholic Order of Foresters. Harriet loved flowers and gardening. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Lois Olson, Wausau and Rosemary Olson, Dixon, Ill.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Rev. John E. Olson. The funeral mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2003 at The Church of the Ressurection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. The Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
