Harold H. Tietz

Harold H. Tietz, 95, Wausau, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at North Central Health Care, Wausau. He was born November 12, 1921 in Wausau, son of the late August and Mary (Behnke) Tietz. He served his country in the United States Army from 1944 until 1946. He retired from Greenheck Fan after 22 years. Survivors include his children, Gloria (Floyd) Resch, Birnamwood, Darlene Foster, Oklahoma, Sharon Machak, Antigo, Judy (Norbert) Burt, Michigan, Cindie (Keith) Wimmer, Wausau and Duane Tietz, Wausau; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Zastrow, Wausau. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Paul Machak, brothers, Henry, Clarence, August and Emil Tietz and sisters, Lorinda Wimmer, Hilda Petit and Verna Tietz.
