Harold F. Ninnemann

Harold F. Ninnemann 79, 4904 Camp Phillips Road, Weston, died Thursday, October 24, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born September 15, 1923 in Wausau, son of the late Paul and Bertha (Pagle) Ninnemann. On March 1, 1945, he married Jean Bruess at the rectory of St. Mary Catholic Church. She survives. Harold was Veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict serving in the US Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, Montgomery Plant #10 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Burns Post #388, both of Wausau Harold was a supervisor for Kraft Foods, Wausau for 33 years until his retirement. He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Schofield. Harold enjoyed bowling on the Kraft bowling team and started their Quarter Century Club. Besides enjoying life to the fullest, he enjoyed playing cards, bowling, planting flowers, gardening. Survivors include his wife, Jean Ninnemann, Weston; one son, Terry (Hazel) Ninnemann, Roswell, New Mexico; two step grandchildren; one brother, Melvin (Caroline) Ninnemann, Wausau; two sisters, Ruth Reinicke and Ethel (Bill) Wischmeyer both of Wausau. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marcella Kell and two brothers, Marvin and Clarence Ninnemann. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2002 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Schofield. Rev. Raymond Connor and Rev. David Zandt will officate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau where full military honors will be conducted by members of the American Legion and the VFW. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
