Harold N. Kuehnast, 73, Spencer, died Tuesday April 9, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born October 10, 1928 son of the late Wilbur and Georgia (Schoenemann) Kuehnast. Harold was a 1946 graduate of Abbottsford High School and later that year, joined the Army Air Force. Throughout his 21 year military career, he traveled extensively including the Phillipines, North Africa and Japan. Stateside he was stationed in Michigan and Alaska. He retired from military service in 1967. Harold was employed by Wick Building Systems until his retirement in 1983.
On November 24, 1958 he married Beatrice Sokolowski. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Kuehnast, Spencer, a daughter, Marcia (James) Hladilek, Middleton, two grandcritters, Taffy and Coco, a sister, Elizabeth Stimac, Jefferson City, Missouri, and other extended family.
A celebration of Harold's life will take place in the fall of 2002. Memorials may be directed to the Foundation of St. Joseph's Hospital, 611 St. Joseph Ave., Marshfield, Wisconsin, 54449
