Grace A. Smith

Grace A. Smith, 86, 1220 Kickbusch St.,Wausau, died Friday, February 15, 2002 at her home. She was born July 6, 1915 in Athens, daughter of the late John and Leila (Kehl) Hopperdietzel. Grace married Ervin Smith in Athens on September 12, 1936. He preceded her to death on January 2, 1986. Grace was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, bird watching, crossword puzzles, playing cards and spending time up north at her cottage. Survivors include two daughters: Joan (Roger) Pospychala, Wausau, Barbara (Perry) Barthels, Wausau, five grandchildren: Kurt(Donna) Pospychala, Wausau, Scott (Kelly) Pospychala, Wausau, Rick Barthels, Wausau, David Barthels, Wausau, Joni Rapisarda, Weston, six great-grandchildren, one sister: Dorothy 'Bitsy' Ewan, Athens and one sister in law, Alice Hopperdietzel, Abbotsford. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2002 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral 1302 6th St.,Wausau. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
