Goldie R. Lipinski

Goldie R. Lipinski 86, 707 2nd Avenue, Apt 21, Edgar, died Saturday, October 8, 2005 at her home. She was born January 20, 1919 in the town of Hamburg, daughter of the late Charles and Augusta (Ratke) Ziegel. On July 2, 1938 she married Sylvester Lipinski in Wuertzburg. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2003. Goldie and her husband Sylvester farmed in the town of Reitbrock for many years. She also worked for Fromm Brothers in the town of Hamburg and Aggies Snack Shack in Edgar. Goldie also helped out with the Edgar Area Ambulance by doing the laundry. Survivors include her children, Sylvester (Marilyn) Lipinski, Athens, Lorraine (Marvin) Holbach, Merceda (Thomas) Wesolowski, Joyce (Ken) Schara and Nick (Jan) Lipinski all of Edgar, 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Goldie was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Paul Lepak, Dan and Sheri Holbach, son-in-law, Franklin Lepak, four brothers, Benny, Denver, Reinold and Ervin Ziegel and one sister, Dora Hintzman. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
