Gertrude A. Boehringer

Gertrude "Trudy" A. Boehringer 99, Wausau, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home. She was born March 10, 1910 in Milwaukee. On November 23, 1950, she married Russell Boehringer in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2005. Among her many interests, she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing piano and dancing. Every year she looked forward to Easter and loved decorating Easter eggs with her family. Survivors include, one daughter, Vicki Lee (Dennis) Belongie, Wausau; two grandchildren, Kristen Leigh (Peter) Chenoweth, Jacksonville, IL and Nicholas (Melinda Brennan) Belongie, Port Washington. Besides her parents and husband, Russell, she was preceded in death by four siblings. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
