Geraldine B. Piaszak

Geraldine B. Piaszak 87, Wausau, died Sunday, March 13, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born June 29, 1917 in Merrill, daughter of the late Herman and Stella (Norton) Freiberg. Geraldine married Michael Piaszak in Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1998. Geraldine worked for the former Wausau Laundry and Cleaners and the Home Bakery in Wausau for many years. She was also the manager at the former Cloverbelt Co-op Grocery Store in Wausau. Survivors include one brother-in-law, Eugene Piaszak, Wausau along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. To honor Jerry's wishes graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will officiate.
